Famous quotes containing the words stand and/or close:

    There, through the broken branches, go
    The ravens of unresting thought;
    Flying, crying, to and fro,
    Cruel claw and hungry throat,
    Or else they stand and sniff the wind....
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

    The heart of another is a dark forest, always, no matter how close it has been to one’s own.
    Willa Cather (1873–1947)
