Don't Let's Start

"Don't Let's Start" is a song by alternative rock band They Might Be Giants, from their eponymous debut album They Might Be Giants. It was the first single released from the album, released as a maxi-single. The song is one of the band's most popular and well-known songs, despite failing to chart or achieve commercial success. The single was later re-released by Elektra in 1990 after the success of the band's third album, Flood.

The single mix differs slightly from the album version, the only notable difference is an alternate take of the drum track.

Famous quotes containing the word start:

    “End of tomorrow.
Don’t try to start the car or look deeper
Into the eternal wimpling of the sky: luster
On luster, transparency floated onto the topmost layer
Until the whole thing overflows like a silver
Wedding cake or Christmas tree, in a cascade of tears.”
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
