Don't Let Me Wait Too Long - Other Versions

Other Versions

Harrison rehearsed "Don't Let Me Wait Too Long" with Paul Simon for their joint appearance on the TV show Saturday Night Live in November 1976. The song was not played in the broadcast, but the performance is available on the bootleg album Living in the Underground, which includes other songs that Harrison and Simon rehearsed in advance of the show. Not long afterwards, "Don't Let Me Wait Too Long" was considered as a track for Harrison's Dark Horse act Splinter to cover on their 1977 album Two Man Band, but as much as singer Bob Purvis loved the song, it never appeared on the official release.

The Late B.P. Helium covered "Don't Let Me Wait Too Long" on his 2003 EP Kumquat Mae.
