Domestic Sheep Predation - British Isles

British Isles

Brown bears are thought to have become extinct in the British Isles in the year 500, while the last wolves were wiped out in 1786. However, domestic dogs are by far the most common cause of predation of adult sheep. Rarely the Hooded Crow is known to take small lambs.
