Dogars of North India
In addition to the Dogars of Punjab, a small community of Muslim Dogars are also found in the Bulandshahr District of Uttar Pradesh. They emigrated from the Sirsa to escape the great famine of the 1780s. They now occupy four villages, not far the city of Bulandshahr. A few have also migrated to Pakistan, and are found among the Urdu speaking Muhajir community.
