Intellectual Property Disputes
Due to the comparable similarity between DJMax games and the Beatmania series, Pentavision received an intellectual property infringement filing from Konami on December 24, 2008. The lawsuit didn't progress in Konami's favour however, and was settled so that Konami now owns exclusive distribution rights to DJMax games in Japan.
