The Voice of The Duck
A misconception about "Disco Duck" is that the voice of the duck itself was provided by Clarence Nash, the original voice of Donald Duck in many Walt Disney cartoons, but on several occasions the Disney Company maintained that Nash never contributed to the song. The voice of the duck was performed by Ken Pruitt, an acquaintance of Dees, as stated on the label of the RSO release. For the live tour, the duck vocals were handled by Michael Chesney, another acquaintance of Dees.

Famous quotes containing the words voice and/or duck:
“And, shrilling from the solar course,
Or from fruit of chemic force,
Procession of a soul in matter,
Or the speeding change of water,
Or out of the good of evil born,
Came Uriels voice of cherub scorn,
And a blush tinged the upper sky,
And the gods shook, they knew not why.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“Alice: I put swimsuits in boxes six days a week.
George: Yeah. What about Sunday? Maybe then you put yourself in a swimsuit.
Alice: Oh, not me.
George: Why? You dont look good in a swimsuit?
Alice: Sure I do. I cant swim.
George: Youre kidding.
Alice: I never learned. I was even scared of the duck pond when I was a kid.”
—Michael Wilson (19141978)
