The Diocese of Skara is a diocese of the Church of Sweden (the Lutheran, former state church of Sweden), with its seat at Skara in Västergötland (Skara Cathedral). Before the Protestant reformation it was a diocese of the Roman Catholic church, and it is the oldest existing diocese in Sweden.
