Transformers: Dinobots
A 2003 set of Wal-Mart exclusive toys sold simply as "Transformers: Dinobots" featured repaints of Beast Wars molds as six Dinobots. One of the Dinobots sets included Grimlock as a repaint of Beast Wars Dinobot, and Swoop as a repaint of Beast Wars Terrorsaur. Some boxes labeled Swoop as Terranotron, because of trademark issues. The other sets in the series were Sludge, who transformers into a Dimetrodon; and Snarl, Triceradon, and Slapper, who transforms into an Ankylosaurus.
It is unclear how the "Transformers: Dinobots" toy line is intended to fit in with the other Transformers lines. The previous "Robots in Disguise" and "Armada" lines contained many non-show repaint toys, but do not mention either line on the boxes. The "Transformers: Universe" series that was released shortly afterward was almost entirely comprised of repaints of old toys, and some fans consider the "Dinobots" toys as a precursor to this series.
