The Dinobots do not appear in the Transformers live-action film, but a video on the Sector 7 website showed Grimlock rampaging through a construction site. The Dinobots had been mentioned as potential characters for the sequel, as a band of Transformers who had landed on Earth eons ago and adopted dinosaur forms. The access code for the Sector 7 website was provided by the website of the film. Director Michael Bay stated that the Dinobots would not appear in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, but that there would be more Cybertronian species. Roberto Orci later confirmed that the Dinobots were left out of the sequel due to the difficulty of portraying them onscreen.
