Diego Biseswar - Early Life

Early Life

Biseswar was born in Amsterdam, North Holland, the Netherlands, to the parents Astrando and Sandra Biseswar, both of Surinamese descent. Biseswar's father is a bus driver in Amsterdam. Biseswar has one older sister and one younger brother, who is named Romario. Despite the football related names, the Biseswar boys were not named after the football icons Maradona and Romário.

As a child, Biseswar only had one passion: football. Biseswar developed his football skills on the squares of Amsterdam, until a good friend of Biseswar's father suggested his parents to let him join an amateur football team.

Famous quotes containing the words early and/or life:

I taught school in the early days of my manhood and I think I know something about mothers. There is a thread of aspiration that runs strong in them. It is the fiber that has formed the most unselfish creatures who inhabit this earth. They want three things only; for their children to be fed, to be healthy, and to make the most of themselves.
    Lyndon Baines Johnson (1908–1973)

I feel nothing but the accursed happiness I have dreaded all my life long: the happiness that comes as life goes, the happiness of yielding and dreaming instead of resisting and doing, the sweetness of the fruit that is going rotten.
    George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)
