A horse, a buggy and several sets of harness, valued in all at about $250, were stolen last night from the stable of Howard Quinlan, near Kingsville. The county police are at work on the case, but so far no trace of either thieves or booty has been found.
    —H.L. (Henry Lewis)

Helping children at a level of genuine intellectual inquiry takes imagination on the part of the adult. Dorothy H. Cohen (20th century)

Walking, and leaping, and praising God.
    Bible: New Testament Acts, 3:8.

Referring to the miraculous recovery of a lame man, through the intervention of Peter.

Virtue rejects facility to be her companion.... She requires a craggy, rough and thorny way.
    Michel de Montaigne (1533–1592)
