Diastrophic Dysplasia

Diastrophic dysplasia (DTD) is an autosomal recessive dysplasia which affects cartilage and bone development. ("Diastrophism" is a general word referring to a twisting.)

Affected individuals have short stature with very short arms and legs and joint problems that restrict mobility.
