End of Production
The Dominator was replaced by the short-lived longitudinal-engined Arrow in 1996. All in all 1,007 Dominators were sold.
The last production vehicle was N716 TPK, bodied by East Lancashire Coachbuilders for Guildford & West Surrey. It subsequently served with Arriva Southend, before being transferred to Arriva North West and Wales in 2004. It was scrapped in June 2011.
The penultimate Dennis Dominator, N715 TPK, is now in preservation.

Famous quotes containing the word production:
“An art whose limits depend on a moving image, mass audience, and industrial production is bound to differ from an art whose limits depend on language, a limited audience, and individual creation. In short, the filmed novel, in spite of certain resemblances, will inevitably become a different artistic entity from the novel on which it is based.”
—George Bluestone, U.S. educator, critic. The Limits of the Novel and the Limits of the Film, Novels Into Film, Johns Hopkins Press (1957)
