Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection - Box Office and Reception

Box Office and Reception

Delta Force 2 made $1.85 million in its first week ranking 6th overall.

The reaction was poor from critics. The movie was criticized for having little in common with his predecessor, a poor script, clichés, sup-par acting, and using similar plot elements from Norris' other film Missing in Action.

Famous quotes containing the words box, office and/or reception:

A Cherokee is too smart to put anything in the contribution box of a race that’s robbed him of his birthright.
    Howard Estabrook (1884–1978)

We have two kinds of “conference.” One is that to which the office boy refers when he tells the applicant for a job that Mr. Blevitch is “in conference.” This means that Mr. Blevitch is in good health and reading the paper, but otherwise unoccupied. The other type of “conference” is bona fide in so far as it implies that three or four men are talking together in one room, and don’t want to be disturbed.
    Robert Benchley (1889–1945)

Aesthetic emotion puts man in a state favorable to the reception of erotic emotion.... Art is the accomplice of love. Take love away and there is no longer art.
    Rémy De Gourmont (1858–1915)
