Victimology
Grant usually singled out lone elderly women as victims, though there is a handful of confirmed cases where his victims had been lone elderly males. It is thought that he was meticulous in planning his crimes. He may have placed his potential victims under surveillance for some time since he has never broken into a house occupied by anyone but a lone elderly occupant. He once targeted three houses in a single street. He picked detached or semi-detached houses and bungalows but never flats.
