Delacorte Theater

The Delacorte Theater, established in 1962, is an American open-air theater located in Manhattan's Central Park, in the Manhattan borough of New York City, New York, and has a seating capacity of 1,800.

The theater is owned by the City of New York and operated by The Public Theater. It is an open-air amphitheater, with the Turtle Pond and Belvedere Castle as its backdrop. It primarily serves as the venue for The Public Theater's annual Shakespeare in the Park summer series.
