Deeply Dippy

"Deeply Dippy" is a song by English trio Right Said Fred. Written by Right Said Fred and produced by Tommy D, "Deeply Dippy" was Right Said Fred's third single and did one better than their debut "I'm Too Sexy" by reaching number one on the UK singles chart for three weeks in April 1992, knocking off Shakespears Sister's two-month #1 "Stay". The song failed to chart in the U.S. other than on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart where it reached #9.

The song was later covered by The Rockingbirds on the Terence Higgins Trust supporting charity EP, The Fred EP.

Famous quotes containing the word deeply:

The real accomplishment of modern science and technology consists in taking ordinary men, informing them narrowly and deeply and then, through appropriate organization, arranging to have their knowledge combined with that of other specialized but equally ordinary men. This dispenses with the need for genius. The resulting performance, though less inspiring, is far more predictable.
    John Kenneth Galbraith (b. 1908)
