The Tobermory Cat
The Tobermory cat is a symbol of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, based on three well-known ginger tom cats who live on the main street of the town (one having now been killed). There have been a number of creative works independently based on the character of "the cat", most notably an illustrated children's book, The Tobermory Cat by Debi Gliori and a Facebook page entitled Tobermory Cat by the Isle of Mull artist Angus Stewart.

Famous quotes containing the word cat:
“In common with other rural regions much of the Iowa farm lore concerns the coming of company. When the rooster crows in the doorway, or the cat licks his fur, company is on the way.”
