Famous quotes containing the words stalin and/or body:

To choose one’s victims, to prepare one’s plan minutely, to slake an implacable vengeance, and then to go to bed ... there is nothing sweeter in the world.
    —Josef Stalin (1879–1953)

    Linda, you are leaving
    your old body now.
It lies flat, an old butterfly,
all arm, all leg, all wing,
    loose as an old dress.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
