Personal Life
Clarkson's uncle Phil O'Donnell played alongside him at Motherwell, before his death in 2007. He has several other family members who have been professional footballers. His cousin Stephen O'Donnell currently plays for Dundee and another cousin Brian Dempsie previously played for Motherwell.
