Career
Charvet (using his mother's maiden name as his professional name) caught his big break in 1992 on the American television program Baywatch as Matt Brody and remained with the series for three full seasons, until 1995. Charvet also appeared as Craig Field on producer Aaron Spelling's soap opera Melrose Place from 1996 to 1998. Between 1995–1999, he appeared in Seduced and Betrayed, Derby, Angel Flight Down and Meet Prince Charming. Charvet left acting in 1999 to concentrate on his musical career.
In 2006, he returned to acting in a movie directed by Roger Christian called Prisoners of the Sun, due for release in 2009. He is also going to appear in the film Green Flash and Nephilim.
In 2009, he was a contestant in ABC's summer reality show The Superstars and came in 3rd with partner Lisa Leslie. Green Flash was released in the US on July 14, 2009 as Beach Kings. In 2010, he was a contestant in the French reality show La Ferme Célébrités (French version of The Farm). The show was broadcast on TF1.
In June 2010, Charvet joined The Blue Seals, a non profit organization aimed at providing a rapid response to environmental emergencies, focusing on oceans preservation. He is a member of The Blue Seals Board of Directors. and works on raising awareness on the Deepwater Horizon oil spill disaster, also helping French company Ecoceane's ships designed to collect floating waste and hydrocarbons to take part in the cleaning. At the same time, a plan to hire unemployed veterans for building ships using this French technology will be unveiled by U.S. Congressman Bob Filner (D-CA).
