Krieg is now a motivational speaker and real estate investor in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was inducted into the Seattle Seahawks Ring of Honor in 2004.
Krieg also became part owner of the af2's Green Bay Blizzard in 2007 along with former Green Bay Packer linebacker Brian Noble.
