Effects
The effects of Dark Rising have their roots in the supernatural genre. To create a comic book feel, bright and bold colors are used for the magic elements and energy weapons. Weapons like the Energy Blasts will be inspired by classic science fiction movies; VFX interfaces will be added to create more elaborate weapon designs.
Weapons take on a litfe of their own when moving interfaces are added, giving them a complexity that ramps up the excitement and fantastical nature of the series. Magic effects will also be given a great level of details, allowing certain colour schemes to be applied to specific characters.
To increase overall excitement and production value, muzzle glares and explosions are used to create a dynamic environment, along with large-scale monsters.

Famous quotes containing the word effects:
“I am fearful that the paper system ... will ruin the state. Its demoralizing effects are already seen and spoken of everywhere ... I therefore protest against receiving any of that trash.”
—Andrew Jackson (17671845)
“Perspective, as its inventor remarked, is a beautiful thing. What horrors of damp huts, where human beings languish, may not become picturesque through aerial distance! What hymning of cancerous vices may we not languish over as sublimest art in the safe remoteness of a strange language and artificial phrase! Yet we keep a repugnance to rheumatism and other painful effects when presented in our personal experience.”
—George Eliot [Mary Ann (or Marian)
“The hippie is the scion of surplus value. The dropout can only claim sanctity in a society which offers something to be dropped out ofcareer, ambition, conspicuous consumption. The effects of hippie sanctimony can only be felt in the context of others who plunder his lifestyle for what they find good or profitable, a process known as rip-off by the hippie, who will not see how savagely he has pillaged intricate and demanding civilizations for his own parodic lifestyle.”
—Germaine Greer (b. 1939)
