Dark Red

Dark Red is a fantasy-based plot-driven webcomic. It is produced using photographs of actors and actresses which are then processed using a variety of photoshop techniques. Although the comic is available on the web, it draws strongly from paper comics in its execution, in particular in the way it is separated into issues and pages. It is updated on a weekly basis, with one page being placed on the website each Friday.

Dark Red was nominated for "Most Outstanding Photographic Comic" in the 2008 Web Cartoonist's Choice Awards.

Famous quotes containing the words dark and/or red:

We do not fear censorship for we have no wish to offend with improprieties or obscenities, but we do demand, as a right, the liberty to show the dark side of wrong, that we may illuminate the bright side of virtue—the same liberty that is conceded to the art of the written word, that art to which we owe the Bible and the works of Shakespeare.
    —D.W. (David Wark)

He is said to have been the last Red Man
In Acton. And the Miller is said to have laughed
If you like to call such a sound a laugh.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
