Dark Days (The Ducky Boys Album)

Dark Days is the second studio album of The Ducky Boys. It was recorded between February and March 1998 at The Outpost in Stoughton, Massachusetts. This is the band's second of two albums with GMM Records and the last album before the band broke up for five years before re-forming in 2003. (NOTE: GMM also released "Live from the Banks of the River Charles" after "Dark Days", but "Live..." is not a full-length album.)

Famous quotes containing the words dark, days and/or boys:

    Their school a crowd, his master solitude;
    Through Jonathan Swift’s dark grove he passed, and there
    Plucked bitter wisdom that enriched his blood.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

    In days gone by, we were afraid of dying in dishonor or a state of sin. Nowadays, we are afraid of dying fools. Now the fact is that there is no Extreme Unction to absolve us of foolishness. We endure it here on earth as subjective eternity.
    Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)

    If human beings are to survive in a nuclear age, committing acts of violence may eventually have to become as embarrassing as urinating or defecating in public are today.
    Myriam Miedzian, U.S. author. Boys Will Be Boys, ch. 3 (1991)
