Ahilya Asthan: From the Railway Station of Kamtual in the Jale Block, the Ahilya Asthan is located at a distance of 3 Kms from it in its south direction. Ahilya Asthan is a renowned temple related to old history. The location is called Ahilya Gram. During the time of Ramnavami, this place hosts huge fairs each year during the months of Chaitra and Vivah Panchami in Agrahayan. Apart from this temple, the village houses other numerous temple and mosques.

Brahmpur: At a distance of 8 Kms from Kamtaul and 19 Kms from Jogiara, the village named Brahmpur is located. The main attractions of the place are the Gautam Kund and a temple of Gautam Rishi. These structures are situated near to the village. The name of the village has been given after the incident that took place here. The incident was that, Lord Brahma materialized in front of Gautam Rishi, when Lord Indra and Chandrama had dishonored the pureness of his wife.

Another myth related to the Gautam Kund is that the tank was formed by God Brahma, when he shot seven arrows into the earth.
