Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix, or DDR Ultramix (stylized as ULTRAMIX), is the sixth home version of Dance Dance Revolution to be released in the United States, and the first DDR game to be released on the Xbox video game console. It was released by Konami exclusively in North America on November 19, 2003, being the first ever DDR game exclusively for the American audience. A European version called Dancing Stage Unleashed was released shortly after. It comes with 51 songs, nine of which are hidden and unlockable. 15 of those songs were new to Dance Dance Revolution.
DDR Ultramix was developed and published by Konami Digital Entertainment, formerly known as Konami Computer Entertainment Hawaii. The Ultramix series would continue with 3 sequentially named sequels (Ultramix 2, 3, and 4) afterwards.

doing the undoing dance ...”

“In comparison to the French Revolution, the American Revolution has come to seem a parochial and rather dull event. This, despite the fact that the American Revolution was successfulrealizing the purposes of the revolutionaries and establishing a durable political regimewhile the French Revolution was a resounding failure, devouring its own children and leading to an imperial despotism, followed by an eventual restoration of the monarchy.”
—Irving Kristol (b. 1920)
