He made his international debut for Senegal in a friendly against Guinea in February 2011, where he also scored a goal. On December 27, 2011, it was revealed that he was part of Senegal's squad for the 2012 African Cup of Nations.He scored a goal in Senegal's 1-2 loss as a substitute against Zambia in 2012 African Cup of Nations.
