Dada Bhagwan - Manifestation of Gnan

Manifestation of Gnan

In 1958, Gnan Sakshatkar, absolute manifestation of Self-knowledge, occurred spontaneously within him.

Dadashri’s awakening is described as follows:

“Dada Bhagwan expressed naturally within…Ambalal Muljibhai ….This was the culmination of spiritual seeking and efforts of many previous lives. The expression of the spiritual knowledge was complete and spontaneous, and this science has come to be known as Akram Vignan (a direct path to attain Atma Gnan, Self-realization and moksha, liberation from the cycle of birth and death).

After Dadashri’s awakening, those close to him observed an extraordinary presence within. His nephew, who addressed him as “Dada” (the traditional Gujarati term for “Grandfather”) repeatedly proclaimed, “He has become a Bhagwan,” divine embodiment. As a result of this, people eventually combined the two, addressing him as “Dada Bhagwan,” grandfatherly divine embodiment.

From his awakening, Dadashri attained siddhis, supernatural abilities, to raise seekers to the level of his own spiritual state. However, for four years, Dadashri remained silent about this, resting in the quietude of an ego-less inner state. Finally, after repeated requests by those close to him, he began to offer satsang, spiritual discourse, and Gnan Vidhi, ceremony of Self-knowledge.

Dadashri’s satsangs were impromptu – offered in any location, at any time of the day or night. Conducted primarily in a question-answer format, Dadashri’s satsang transcripts have been compiled by subject into numerous topic-based books.

In Gnan Vidhi, which Dadashri defined as an “experiment to separate the Self from the non-self,” he was able to consistently awaken his own spiritual state within seekers in a mere 2 hours. He gave a personal guarantee that anyone attending Gnan Vidhi would permanently attain Atma Gnan, Self-realization.

Until his samadhi maran, passing with spiritual awareness in 1988, Dadashri traveled within India. In 1982 Dadabhagwan made his first trip to the USA to pass on the knowledge of Akram Vignan to enlighten the lives of Indians as well as Americans. He also travelled to the UK and East Africa & South Africa to pass on his spiritual knowledge of the Self, offering satsang and Gnan Vidhi ceremonies. Proclaiming that “there must be no business in spirituality,” he did so entirely at his own expense.

Dadashri predicted that Akram Vignan would remain accessible through his successors for approximately 18,000 years. Before passing, he blessed his closest disciples with the siddhis required to offer Gnan Vidhi. Since then, Dr. Niruma Amin (who met Dada in 1968), carried on the knowledge of Akram Vignan to enlighten the lives of people. Pujya Niruma continued visiting the USA, UK, Africa and expanded to Europe, Asia, Muscat, UAE, New Zealand and Australia.

On 19 March 2006 with the passing of Pujya Niruma, Deepakbhai Desai (Pujyashree Deepakbhai) the current living Atma Gnani(spiritual Master) who was given Special Spiritual Blessings by Param Puja Dada Bhagwan took over knowledge of Akram Vignan and continues enlightening the lives of people through Live Satsangs (Spiritual discourses).Pujyashree Deepakbhai has officiated over a burgeoning spiritual community (Simandhar City, Gujarat, India), celibate male and female groups…., teen and children’s programs. He travels round the Globe following the same footsteps of Pujya Niruma and Dada Bhagwan to awaken sincere seekers to Self-realization and moksha.

Famous quotes containing the words manifestation of:

Perhaps having built a barricade when you’re sixteen provides you with a sort of safety rail. If you’ve once taken part in building one, even inadvertently, doesn’t its usually latent image reappear like a warning signal whenever you’re tempted to join the police, or support any manifestation of Law and Order?
    Jean Genet (1910–1986)
