CZW World Tag Team Championship

The CZW World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship owned and copyrighted by the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) promotion; it is contested for in their tag team division. It was created and debuted on February 13, 1999 at CZW's Opening Night event, where Jon Dahmer and Jose Rivera, Jr. were awarded the championship, becoming the inaugural champions in the process.

Being a professional wrestling championship, title reigns are not won legitimately; they are instead won via a scripted ending to a match or awarded to a wrestler because of a storyline. Overall, there have been 45 reigns, among 58 different wrestlers and 33 different teams, and three known vacancies.

Azrieal and Bandido jr. are the current champions, the second time they've held the titles. They defeated Nation of Intoxication on October 13, 2012.

Famous quotes containing the words world, tag and/or team:

In those days a decree went out from Emperor Augustus that all the world should be registered.
    Bible: New Testament, Luke 2:1.

I believe in the flesh and the appetites,
Seeing, hearing, feeling, are miracles, and each part and tag of me
    is a miracle.

Divine am I inside and out, and I make holy whatever I touch or am touch’d from,
The scent of these arm-pits aroma finer than prayer,
This head more than churches, bibles, and all the creeds.
    Walt Whitman (1819–1892)

    Is my team ploughing,
That I was used to drive
    And hear the harness jingle
    When I was man alive?
