In February 2007, Government of Pubjab issued a Tender for Transportation of imported Coal, which was around 200 tons, from Karachi Port to Islamabad. Many transport companies submitted their lowest possible bids to get contract, During Financial bid assessment, the best lower Bid received was about PKR 4 Million, submitted by a Lahore based transport company but Custom Carriers got this contract for Rs. 9 Million with the support of Musharraf without submitting any Bid at that time. Which loss PKR 5 Million to Government of Pubjab.
