2000 Census
As of the census of 2000, there were 198 people, 68 households, and 45 families residing in the village. The population density was 288.8 people per square mile (110.8/km²). There were 70 housing units at an average density of 102.1 per square mile (39.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 64.65% White, 0.51% Native American, 1.01% Asian, 33.84% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 34.34% of the population.
There were 68 households out of which 41.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.3% were married couples living together, 2.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.4% were non-families. 27.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.91 and the average family size was 3.70.
In the village the population was spread out with 35.4% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 30.8% from 25 to 44, 12.1% from 45 to 64, and 15.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 29 years. For every 100 females there were 108.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 113.3 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $29,250, and the median income for a family was $34,167. Males had a median income of $25,000 versus $23,125 for females. The per capita income for the village was $11,061. About 7.7% of families and 14.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 17.9% of those under the age of eighteen and 5.6% of those sixty five or over.
