The people of kerala are very fond of poltics.Majority of keralites belong to either one of the political parties namely United Democratic Front (UDF), Left Democratic Front (LDF), Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP), Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) etc. Religious leaders have high influence in Kerala political movements.For many Keralites it's nostalgic to remember the political discussions and debates they had done in the 'chaikadai'( a small tea shop) in their younger ages.
