Famous quotes containing the word dance:

    Pike, three inches long, perfect
Pike in all parts, green tigering the gold.
Killers from the egg: the malevolent aged grin.
They dance on the surface among the flies.
    Ted Hughes (b. 1930)

I could dance yet—only had a good fiddle—I like music. A good fiddle always starts the Negro, even if he’s old.
    Sylvia Dubois (1788?–1889)

Never since the middle summer’s spring
Met we on hill, in dale, forest, or mead,
By pavèd fountain or by rushy brook,
Or in the beachèd margent of the sea
To dance our ringlets to the whistling wind,
But with thy brawls thou hast disturbed our sport.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
