Legally, cryonics patients are treated as a deceased person. Cryonics Providers are treated as funeral institutes or medical research institutes. People who take cryonics service provider are treated as a kind of funeral, or a kind of donation to medical research. Some states or countries may not permit citizens to cryopreserve themselves.
