Cry For You (September Song) - Music Video

Music Video

Two music videos were released for the single. The international version featured September in a futuristic city, where there are several Septembers, in a controlled prison-like place. Throughout the video it also features September alone dancing and singing to the song. On the bridge, it features September running away from the imprisoned Septembers and she runs, where the guards try to capture her, but at the end, it shows September escaping.

The original video was a promotional video featuring September in a photoshoot, as it features on several covers of the singles CD cover formats. This version uses the original radio edit, while the UK video uses the UK mix of the song.

Famous quotes containing the words music and/or video:

If music in general is an imitation of history, opera in particular is an imitation of human willfulness; it is rooted in the fact that we not only have feelings but insist upon having them at whatever cost to ourselves.... The quality common to all the great operatic roles, e.g., Don Giovanni, Norma, Lucia, Tristan, Isolde, Brünnhilde, is that each of them is a passionate and willful state of being. In real life they would all be bores, even Don Giovanni.
    —W.H. (Wystan Hugh)

We attempt to remember our collective American childhood, the way it was, but what we often remember is a combination of real past, pieces reshaped by bitterness and love, and, of course, the video past—the portrayals of family life on such television programs as “Leave it to Beaver” and “Father Knows Best” and all the rest.
