Crossbow Technology - Inertial Systems

Inertial Systems

Crossbow was founded in 1995 to exploit MEMS inertial sensors. Notable past products include the AHRS500GA, used in the FAA-sponsored Capstone program. The AHRS500GA was the first stand-alone, completely solid-state FAA certified AHRS system. A follow-on product, the AHRS510GA is designed into the Eclipse Aviation Very Light Jet, the Eclipse 500. Crossbow nolonger provides this product.

Current Crossbow products include the CTXD02 Digital Inclinometer, VG700 Vertical Gyro and GNAV540 INS/GPS GN&Cunit. These products are used on multiple manned and unmanned airborne, marine and ground platforms such as the Hunter RQ-5A Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, ITAS and LRAS targeting systems.

Famous quotes containing the word systems:

People stress the violence. That’s the smallest part of it. Football is brutal only from a distance. In the middle of it there’s a calm, a tranquility. The players accept pain. There’s a sense of order even at the end of a running play with bodies stewn everywhere. When the systems interlock, there’s a satisfaction to the game that can’t be duplicated. There’s a harmony.
    Don Delillo (b. 1926)
