Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America - Awareness Week

Awareness Week

The week of December 1–7 has been designated by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) as Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week in order to encourage all Americans to join in the effort to find cures for these diseases, help raise awareness and support research.

In support of Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness week, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America asks people to: • Write to their House Representatives and encourage them to join the Crohn’s and Colitis Caucus • “Like” the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America on Facebook and follow the Foundation on Twitter • Change your Facebook status to INSERT in support of Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week • Reach out to anyone you know with IBD and let them know you care • Visit to learn more about the disease

Famous quotes containing the words awareness and/or week:

Humility has its origin in an awareness of unworthiness, and sometimes too in a dazzled awareness of saintliness.
    Colette [Sidonie Gabrielle Colette] (1873–1954)

Jesus would recommend you to pass the first day of the week rather otherwise than you pass it now, and to seek some other mode of bettering the morals of the community than by constraining each other to look grave on a Sunday, and to consider yourselves more virtuous in proportion to the idleness in which you pass one day in seven.
    Frances Wright (1795–1852)
