Cristian Molinaro - Early Years

Early Years

Molinaro was born in Vallo della Lucania to Emilio, who is a high school P.E. teacher, and Franca, who is an elementary school teacher. He was raised in Moio della Civitella, near Salerno. Molinaro has two brothers, both of them older than he is: Bartolomeo, a chartered accountant, and Angelo, a humanities teacher. Molinaro has a surveyor diploma and naturally his favourite subjects at school were humanities. He began playing football at age five in the Gelbison team. He generally played as a left winger in that period. When he joined Salernitana's youth academy, he was moved to left-back.

Famous quotes containing the words early years, early and/or years:

Even today . . . experts, usually male, tell women how to be mothers and warn them that they should not have children if they have any intention of leaving their side in their early years. . . . Children don’t need parents’ full-time attendance or attention at any stage of their development. Many people will help take care of their needs, depending on who their parents are and how they chose to fulfill their roles.
    Stella Chess (20th century)

In early times every sort of advantage tends to become a military advantage; such is the best way, then, to keep it alive. But the Jewish advantage never did so; beginning in religion, contrary to a thousand analogies, it remained religious. For that we care for them; from that have issued endless consequences.
    Walter Bagehot (1826–1877)

We do not count a man’s years until he has nothing else to count.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
