The single peaked at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the United States on 31 October 1987, and at number 37 on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. "Crazy Crazy Nights" was more commercially successful in the United Kingdom, as it peaked at #4, proving to be Kiss' first Top 10 single in the UK. Nearly 25 years later, it remains the band's biggest UK hit.
