Crashing Gates debuted at #43 on the iTunes Top 100 Alternative Albums chart. According to Max, Universal (dPulse's parent label) is considering releasing a "full package with added songs" in 2009. The "full package," Cotes d'Armor, was eventually released in 2010 and featured five new songs in addition to remixes of the seven on Crashing Gates.

Famous quotes containing the words crashing and/or gates:

With his brows knit, his mind made up, his will resolved and resistless, he advances, crashing his way through the host of weak, half-formed, dilettante opinions, honest and dishonest ways of thinking, with their standards raised, sentimentalities and conjectures, and tramples them all into dust. See how he prevails; you don’t even hear the groans of the wounded and dying.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

These arts open great gates of a future, promising to make the world plastic and to lift human life out of its beggary to a god- like ease and power.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
