Background
In June 2001, Moore released her third album, Mandy Moore which portrayed more adult and provocative themes and featured the lead single "In My Pocket". Mandy tired of going in the direction of Spears, Aguilera and Simpson, decides to turn 180 degrees to their career. In an interview she expressed that her new album would be more mature than his three last album, an album where she felt very comfortable. On the red carpet of the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards revealed that their fourth studio album consisted of songs from the 70s and 80s.
