Country Music Concert

Country Music Concert is a 1966 live album by country singer Willie Nelson, recorded July 5, 1966 at Panther Hall, Fort Worth, TX.

In 1976, RCA reissued this album as "Willie Nelson Live". The reissue left off "Night Life", but added "I Gotta Get Drunk", a studio recording made three years after the release of this album. The song was remixed to include audience sounds not present on the original recording.

In 1998, Bear Family Records reissued "Country Music Concert" in its original format (as part of the "Nashville Was The Roughest..." box set), along with three bonus tracks not on the original release: "I Love You Because", "There'll Be No Teardrops Tonight", and "I'm Still Not Over You"

Famous quotes containing the words country, music and/or concert:

Between richer and poorer classes in a free country a mutually respecting antagonism is much healthier than pity on the one hand and dependence on the other, as is, perhaps, the next best thing to fraternal feeling.
    Charles Horton Cooley (1864–1929)

... the majority of colored men do not yet think it worth while that women aspire to higher education.... The three R’s, a little music and a good deal of dancing, a first rate dress-maker and a bottle of magnolia balm, are quite enough generally to render charming any woman possessed of tact and the capacity for worshipping masculinity.
    Anna Julia Cooper (1859–1964)

Proportion ... You can’t help thinking about it in these London streets, where it doesn’t exist.... It’s like listening to a symphony of cats to walk along them. Senseless discords and a horrible disorder all the way.... A concert of Brobdingnagian cats. Order has been turned into a disgusting chaos. We need no barbarians from outside; they’re on the premises, all the time.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)
