Council Rock High School South - Bomb Threats

Bomb Threats

On November 8, 2006, two bomb threats were directed at both Council Rock High School South and Council Rock High School North. Seven teams of bomb dogs went in to both high schools the next day. There were three more bomb threats directed at Council Rock South the morning the school opened after the initial threat to both schools. The school received another bomb threat on January 23, 2007. The threat was written on a bathroom wall. No bombs were found in the school during any of the incidents. Another threat was received in early 2010, but the threat was determined not credible, and the student responsible has since been expelled.

Famous quotes containing the words bomb and/or threats:

Gracious Lord, oh bomb the Germans.
Spare their women for Thy Sake,
And if that is not too easy
    We will pardon Thy Mistake.
But gracious Lord, whate’er shall be,
    Don’t let anyone bomb me.
    Sir John Betjeman (1906–1984)

Southerners, whose ancestors a hundred years ago knew the horrors of a homeland devastated by war, are particularly determined that war shall never come to us again. All Americans understand the basic lessons of history: that we need to be resolute and able to protect ourselves, to prevent threats and domination by others.
Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)
