Costa Rica Cricket Federation (Federacion de Cricket - FEDECRIC) is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Costa Rica. Costa Rica Cricket Federation is Costa Rica's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an affiliate member and has been a member of that body since 2002. The organisation was previously known as the Costa Rica Cricket Association but successfully upgraded to Association in July 2009. The benefits of this include opportunity for national representation and the possibility of gaining Olympic membership.

Famous quotes containing the words cricket and/or federation:

    All cries are thin and terse;
    The field has droned the summer’s final mass;
    A cricket like a dwindled hearse
    Crawls from the dry grass.
    Richard Wilbur (b. 1921)

    Women realize that we are living in an ungoverned world. At heart we are all pacifists. We should love to talk it over with the war-makers, but they would not understand. Words are so inadequate, and we realize that the hatred must kill itself; so we give our men gladly, unselfishly, proudly, patriotically, since the world chooses to settle its disputes in the old barbarous way.
