Costa Ioannides is a free-lance journalist and the Cypriot representative of the BBC World Service European Panel.
Costa is a postgraduate from the London School of Economics specialising in European Economic Development and National and Ethnic Conflict Resolution.
As a song writer and emerging musician his trilingual piece 'Eastern Drums' also came in the top 10 finalists of the World Music category for the 2007 USA Songwriting Competition.
Most recently Costa reached the finals of the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CYBC) PERFORMANCE show where the winner will represent Cyprus at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. The national final is due to take place on Friday the 10th of September 2010.
