Each year an air show is held at RAF Cosford, known locally as the Cosford Air Show. In 2009, the show achieved its largest crowd, with 58,000 attending the event.

The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford is a museum dedicated to the history of aviation, and the Royal Air Force in particular. The museum is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and a registered charity, relying the generosity of visitors, as there are no entry fees. The museum is spread over two sites in England, the other site is at the Royal Air Force Museum London at Colindale (near Hendon) in north London
