Athletics
Cosby High School is a member of group AAA in the Virginia High School League. They are a part of the AAA Central Region and AAA Dominion District.
Cosby has won the Dominion District All Sports Cup for the last five years. (2007–08, 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11, 2011–12). In 2012, they won the Wells Fargo Cup, which honors the VHSL high school with the most prominent athletic department on the state level. They became the first Central Region team to win the cup in the 28 year history of the award.
