History

Corporate Thugz Entertainment (now known as CTE World) released its first album in 2001 being Young Jeezy's Thuggin' Under the Influence (T.U.I.) followed by Come Shop wit Me. In 2005 Jeezy got a deal with Def Jam South and Island Def Jam and released he's first studio album Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Then in 2006 released his second studio album The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102 and in 2007 formed the rap group USDA and signed Slick Pulla, Blood Raw, 211, JW and Boo Rossini to his Corporate Thugz family and released his label's third studio album and USDA's first album Cold Summer (The Authorized Mixtape). In 2008 Young Jeezy released The Recession. In 2011 Young Jeezy signed Freddie Gibbs, Tone Trump, and Scrilla into the Corporate Thug Family. On New Year's Eve 2012 Freddie Gibbs announced that he asked for and received his release from CTE, and that there were no hard feelings. In early 2013 Young Jeezy would sign Detroit hip hop group Doughboyz Cashout and West Coast rapper YG to the record label.
